Koryu-Ji
Kohryu-ji Temple is the oldest temple in Kyoto. In 603, the lord of Hata family, Hata Kawakatsu kept a Buddha statue which was presented from the Emperor. This was the origin of this temple so this temple has represented the Emperor’s idea “Harmony is the greatest of the virtues”. You can see famous Kannon Bosatsu Buddha named Miroku Bosatsu (One of the most beautiful Buddha in Japan) made of wood statue here in Kohryu-ji Temple.
