Kyoto-Gosho-Imperial-Palace
When Emperor Kanmu moved a capital to Kyoto in 794, some provisional palaces were built beside the Imperial Palace just in case that the Imperial Palace should be fired or broken or etc. Kyoto Gosho Imperial Palace now was a one of those provisional palaces. In fact, the Imperial Palace got fired many times, so the Emperor often lived in this provisional one. Also, from in 1331 to in 1869 the emperors lived is this Kyoto Gosho Imperial Palace. It is necessary to make the reservation in advance for visit at the imperial palace office in Kyoto.
